Ceramic brake pad of automobile plays a very important role in guaranteeing the safety of driver. When the brake system is faulty, many dangers can be avoided if correct judgment can be made to the brake system of automobile. With the development of the national economy, the automobile has entered the ordinary family, and more attention should be paid to the judgment and analysis of the fault of the brake system.

We discuss the types and causes of brake system faults in the following aspects:

1、 Poor braking effect. The vehicle brakes normally, but the braking distance exceeds the specified value. Cause: (a) Air infiltration in brake fluid; (b) Leakage of the brake system cannot guarantee the system pressure;

2、 Sudden brake failure. When the brake is pressed continuously, the brake pedal is pressed to the limit position, but there is no brake. Cause: (a) Serious oil leakage of brake master cylinder or slave cylinder. (b) The sealing ring of brake master cylinder or slave cylinder piston is damaged, or there is too much air in the brake oil line.

3、 The brake shakes. The reason is that the end face run-out of the brake disc is out of tolerance, the brake caliper is deformed and the brake pad is worn into a taper.

4、 The brake deviates. The reason is inconsistent brake clearance and asynchronous brake.

5、 The brake makes squeaking sound. The cause is uneven wear of brake disc and brake pad or brake drum and shoe.

6、 Brake fails to return. In this case, check whether the brake hub is heated. If a single brake wheel is heated, it indicates that the brake is faulty; If the four hubs are heated, it indicates that the brake master cylinder is faulty.
